“OVER THE TAVERN”
By Tom Dudzick

In that most idealized period of the Eisenhower years of the 1950s, the Pazinski Family has a lot going on in their cramped apartment. The youngest of the bunch, 12-year-old Rudy, is a smart, wise-cracking kid who is starting to question family values and the Roman Catholic Church. When Rudy goes up against the ruler-wielding Sister Clarissa and announces to his family that instead of being confirmed, he’d rather “shop around” for a more “fun” religion, all hell breaks loose! This is a warm and hilarious look at family and spiritual things.

PRODUCTION DATES: April 25,26,27 & May 2,3,4, 2008

DIRECTOR: Dale Kihlman

“INTO THE WOODS”
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Book by James Lapine

Into The Woods combines the well-known fairy tales of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood with the story of the Baker and his Wife who desperately want a child. Working through a “witch’s curse”, the couple must perform various missions to break the spell. This is an enchanting and robust musical for all ages. It is funny and charming and a great evening of entertainment.

This production is using the "Into the Woods, Jr." material to facilitate the orchestration, but it is still the same enchanting Sondheim musical produced on Broadway!
