"THE CHILDRENS HOUR"

Sponsored by
Bluegrass Neurological Services, Inc. & Farmers National Bank

By Lillian Hellman

This Pulitzer-prize winning serious drama is set in an all-girls boarding school and is based on a true historical incident. Set in Edinburgh, Scotland (or anywhere), a young student accuses her school mistresses of inappropriate conduct. The girl's rich and influential grandmother advises all her friends and colleagues to pull their children from the school. Within days the school is deserted and lives are destroyed. This is mature subject matter and a riveting play.  Our Youth Off Broadway Theatre encourages serious young actresses only need to take on this major play.
